NGC 6946 and NGC 6939

NGC 6946 and NGC 6939

NGC 6946 (bottom right) is a spiral galaxy between the constellations of Cepheus and Cygnus. It was discovered by William Herschel. It lies on rich background of stars from Milky Way.

NGC 6939 (top left) is an open cluster, which I managed to get in the same field with the galaxy. There are some other more distant galaxies noticeable on the bigger version.
